If you have an animal emergency regarding an injured animal and you are unable to transport the animal to a veterinarian, please contact your local police department or the Boone County Sheriff's non emergency number at (765) 482-1412. They in turn will contact the HSFBC volunteer on call who may be able to assist.
If you have a family pet you are no longer able to care for, please be aware that The Humane Society for Boone County does not have a shelter and is unable to accept animal surrenders.
