How do I make a monetary donation?
Make a secure gift online via MasterCard, Visa or debit card, use the PayPal button on the right side of the page.
To donate without opening a PayPal account: use the "continue" button under the "Don't have a PayPal account?" at the bottom of the PayPal login page.
Make a gift via phone (765) 485-8888 or (877) 473-6722.
Make a gift by mail. Complete the Monetary Donation Form or Automatic Monthly Donation Form and send along with your check to The Humane Society for Boone County, P. O. Box 708, Lebanon, Indiana 46052.
- Make a gift through a Corporate Sponsorship.
- Make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one.
- Make HSFBC a beneficiary of your Will or Life Insurance Policy.
- Does your company offer a "Matching Donation" program for it's employees? Check it out...you may be able to double the value of your donation!!
Can I choose where my money goes? I'll help!
Your donation can be directed toward the fund of your choice:
Operation Shelter (building fund) - this fund is applied toward the buiding and/or purchasing of a modern adoption shelter and clinic
General Fund - this fund is for operational costs including but not limited to:
- Animal rescue, fostering, and adoption
- Spaying and neutering
- Medicals costs including vaccinations and chipping
- Advertising and printing
- Public awareness
Can I donate pet items?
Yes, we are always appreciative of new and gently used items that will assist us in our rescue efforts. Items most frequently needed include:
- Assorted sizes and colors of fabric collars, leashes, and harnesses
- Non rawhide chew toys and treats
- Pet food dishes, preferably metal
- Clean dog bedding, blankets, large towels, and dog beds
- All sizes of collapsible wire animal kennels, and outdoor fenced kennels
- Enclosed plastic carrying crates for cats and small dogs

What does my donation help fund?
Your donation to Operation Shelter will help us build a modern adoption shelter and clinic.
Donations also fund our current rescue and adoption efforts.
Other ways your donation helps:
- Animal rescue, fostering, and adoption
- Pet owner education and healthcare resources
- Educational programs in area schools
- Reduce the number of homeless animals at large
- Feral cat population control
- Spay/neuter education programs

Yes, we accept cash, checks, credit or debit cards (Visa or MasterCard) as well as automatic monthly bank drafts and credit card donations. Use the PayPal button on the right of the page for PayPal or credit card donations, or print the Monetary Donation Form or Automatic Monthly Donation Form and mail your credit/debit information to us.
