Finding a New Home for Your Pet

The Humane Society for Boone County does not have a physical shelter and therefore we are extremely limited on space.  We would ask that you consider us as a last option when it comes to rehoming a pet, and instead pursue these other options if you need to find a new loving home for your family dog or cat.  Thank you.

Make a flyer with photo & info to post anywhere that will allow you to do so, such as your work office, church, local stores [TSC has a board, in the back, where the restrooms are], local vets, etc.  Put it on any social network sites you use [Facebook, Twitter]. 
Also, e-mail it to family, friends, co-workers, etc.  In the e-mail, ask that everyone who receives your message passes it on to everyone they know. This information can also be posted on the Humane Society Facebook page www.facebook.com/hsforbc
