Greetings, Friends & Supporters of Humane Society for Boone County!

HSforBC has a need for some hands-on animal care help, on various days of the week, some early morning time slots and some evening time slots. 

For dogs, we need a few folks who would be willing to partner with an experienced volunteer, for a roughly 1-2 hour time frame.   Caring for dogs is much easier with two sets of hands, and if we can get 3 or 4 people to each take one time slot, working alongside an experienced person, the workload will be lightened tremendously.

For cats, one person can easily handle the cat care for one time slot, but teams of friends, family members, etc. are great and make the work go faster.  Right now, we have an ongoing Sat. time slot to fill.

Even if you're not able to commit to a once a week time slot, you could be trained to act as a floater, and help out when someone is ill or out of town, etc.
 "Many hands make light work" as the saying goes, so please donate some of your time if you are able.  Thanks for helping us help the animals!
